Maison Martin Margiela for H&M

Si, la collaborazione con i grandi nomi continua. Questa volta si può dire la "collaborazione sperimentale", visto che si cercano di unire due stili diversi; quella di Margiela che si chiama una moda concettuale con le line pulite e a pochi colori con quella della catena low cost H&M che è caratterizzata dai colori molto vivaci e di una linea "in". L'occasione di vedere come si combineranno queste due identità sarà possibile il 15 Novembre, quando presentaranno la collezione autuno/inverno 2012/13, che probabilmente sarà di uno stile unico. Tra numerosi capi saranno anche gli accessori, tutto di un prezzo combinato ma accessibile.

Yes, the collaboration with big names continues. This time we can say "experimental colaboration", since they are trying to join two different styles; one of Margiela ,with his conceptual fashion, with clean lines and a few colors used and the one of low cost brand H&M which is characterized by very lively colors and an "in" line.  The opportunity to see how they combined these two identities will be the 15th of November, when they'll show the collection  of autumn / winter 2012/13, which probably will be in unique style. Among numerous peaces of clothes there will be also accessories, foremost with combined price but yet accessible.

Come tutte le cantanti famose, anche e soprattutto Madonna, prima della world tour si impegna di organizzare tutto per bene, stage, prove vocali, la coreografia ecc... ma soprattutto la sua immagine che rappresenterà l'intera tour. Ovviamente in gioco sono i grandi nomi di fashion.

Il tutto è supervisionato dal pluripremiato stylist Arianne Phillips; segue il drammatico aspetto di "Joan of Arc" di ispirazione abito in maglia metallica e cristalli Swarovski; poi un completino di majorette in rosso e bianco in stile anni '40, completo di bastone e minigonna creato da Arianne stessa; e il mitico corsetto sexy scheletro di Jean Paul Gaultier accoppiato con una camicetta bianca, pantaloni gessati, cravatta, che la cantante indosserà durante l'esecuzione di "Vogue". Jeremy Scott vestirà gli "backup dancers" di Madonna in uno stile proclamato Adidas look. Anche Dolce & Gabbana si presentano con i capi creati per band e per i "background vocalists". In giro saranno anche i pezzi di Agent Provocateur e gli stivalli di Prada e Miu Miu.

Questa volta Madonna indosserà i capi della sua linea "Material Girl" e anche le ultime novità della collezione "Truth or Dare", tra cui: la collezione del intimo e scarpe in stile hard.

As so many other famour singers, also end mostly Madonna, before the world tour is engages to organize everything right, her stage, voice and sound testing, choreography ecc... but above all,her image that represents the entire tour. Obviously with help of big names in fashion industry.

All this is supervised by award-winning stylist Arianne Phillips; follows the dramatic appearance of "Joan of Arc"-inspired dress mesh and Swarovski crystals; a red and white '40s-style drum majorette costume complete with baton and miniskirt designed by Arianne; and the legendary corset from Jean Paul Gaultier, skeleton coupled with a white blouse, pinstriped trousers, tie,that Madonna will wear during the performance of "Vogue". Jeremy Scott will dress the Madonna's "backup dancers", proclaimed in an Adidas look. Dolce & Gabbana made suits for the band and background vocalists. Also there will be the pieces of Agent Provocateur and  Prada and Miu Miu boots.

This time Madonna will wear the garments of her line "Material Girl" and also the latest collection of "Truth or Dare", including: the collection of underwear and shoes in hard style.

Nota già da una decina anni nel circolo della moda cinese, Guo Pei ha da poco cominciato a incantare ed attirare l’attenzione internazionale grazie alla nuova collezione 1002nd Arabian Night. Le sue magnifiche creazioni sono una fusione di epoche storiche e diversi stili architettonici messi in una perfetta armonia. In un’intervista al New York Times, Guo Pei ha  scoperto che nel suo Rose Studio a Pechino lavorano più di 300 sarti: “ci sono capi che richiedono 50,000 ore di lavoro per essere ricamati”. Known already for ten years in the Chinese fashion circle, Guo Pei has recently begun to enchant and attract international attention thanks to the new collection 1002nd Arabian Night. His magnificent creations are a fusion of different architectural styles and historical periods put in a perfect harmony. In an interview for the New York Times, Guo Pei has discovered that in her Rose Studio in Beijing working more than 300 tailors: "there are articles that require 50.000 hours of work to be embroidered". Eiko Ishioka

Eiko Ishioka è stata una costumista giapponese molto nota e famosa nel mondo del cinema. Eiko si è laureata all'Università Nazionale di Tokyo di Belle Arti e Musica. Il suo lavoro è incluso nella collezione permanente di musei in tutto il mondo, tra cui il Museum of Modern Art di New York. Il suo contributo artistico ha dato alla luce tanti film, come: Dracula di Bram Stoker, The Cell, Immortals... e recentemente anche nel Biancaneve dove la protagonista della regina cattiva, Julia Roberts, splende nei magnifici costumi. Purtroppo la mente creativa si è spenta questo gennaio.

Eiko Ishioka was a well known and famous japanese costume designer in the world of cinema. Eiko graduated at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Her work is included in the permanent collections of museums worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Her artistic contribution has given birth to many films, such as: Dracula from Bram Stoker, The Cell, Immortals...and most recently in Snow White where the evil queen, starring Julia Roberts, shines in magnificent costumes. Unfortunately, the creative mind has shut down this January.

Joshua DeMonte

La "notizia" ormai non è recente, ma si continua ancora parlare di questi spettacolari gioielli architettonici. Joshua DeMonte, con la sua fantasia  in fashion, gioielli e disegno industriale ha avuto brillante idea di unire la magia dei gioielli con le peculiari prospettive dell'architettura. Il frutto sono questi bellissimi pezzi, possiamo dire anche molto artistici, quasi non  indossabili. Ogni pezzo è stato elaborato con vari elementi architettonici, fino ai minimi dettagli, quasi sempre dipinti di bianco. Anche se i dettagli sono molto precisi  il colore bianco li rende molto minimal. Vi auguro buona visione delle foto allegate.
p.s Mi chiedo come mai Lady Gaga non ha sentito per questi gioielli unici!?   ;)

The "news" isn't so fresh and recent, but still continues to intrigue people about these spectacular architectural jewels. Joshua DeMonte, with his fantasy in fashion, jewels and industrial design, has a brilliant idea to unite the magic of jewels with a different forms of architecture view. The result are these beautiful pieces, we can say also very very artistic, hardly worn. Each piece was developed with various architectural elements to the smallest details, almost alway painted in white. Although the detail are very precise white color makes them very minimal. Hope you enjoj viewing the attached photos.
p.s I wonder, how come that Lady Gaga hasn't heard already for these unique pieces!?  ;)
